Our Mission Statement
St. Thomas More Catholic School is committed to continuing a legacy of excellence in religious and academic education in a nurturing environment that fosters self-discipline.

There will be no EBR bus service Monday, January 5, and Tuesday, January 6.
When we return to school on Monday, January 5, all students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will be issued a new lanyard for their IDs. The new lanyards are designed to be more durable and are expected to last through the remainder of this school year and into the next.
As part of our ongoing campus safety measures, students are required to wear their lanyard and ID at all times while on campus. Teachers will be checking daily to ensure compliance.
Thank you for helping us reinforce these procedures to keep our students safe.

The reenrollment period for the 2026-2027 school year for returning students will be January 10-23. The reenrollment fee of $360 per returning student will be drafted at the time of reenrollment. The fee for returning students who reenroll after January 23 will increase to $460. You will receive an email with reenrollment details on January 10. Due to reenrollment for the 2026-2027 school year, as a courtesy to our families on 10-month tuition payment plans, there is no tuition payment drafted in January.
Do you have a child entering school next year? Do you know a family looking for a school? Applications for new students are open at stmbr.org/apply. We have limited availability for qualified candidates. At this time, we have a wait list for 4th and 7th grade in 2026-2027. Please note: Applications are for new students only; current students will reenroll for 2026-2027 beginning January 10. Emails will be sent to parents with reenrollment instructions.
ATTENTION FIFTH GRADE PARENTS: Students entering 6th grade are required to receive immunizations after turning 11-years-old. These vaccines include: Tdap and Meningococcal. Please make an appointment with your health care provider after your child’s 11th birthday. Official signed/ stamped shot records can be faxed, emailed, or sent in an envelope to school. Unofficial records such as MyChart, personal records etc. are not acceptable records by the Department of Health and Hospital guidelines. Our fax number is 225-275-0376. Nurse Rochelle's email address is rochelle@stmbr.org. Updated immunization records for entering 6th graders are due by JULY 15, 2026.
If your child will not be eleven years old before starting 6th grade, please notify Nurse Rochelle. A grace period is allowed to get the vaccines after the 11th birthday. If you are not participating in immunizations, please submit a written statement from a physician stating the procedure is contraindicated for medical reasons, or provide a written dissent from a parent or guardian. Please call 225-272-3072 or email Nurse Rochelle at rochelle@stmbr.org with questions about immunizations.
