PLANT BOOTH: The Plant Booth is asking for your generosity again this year for donations of plants to sell festival weekend. All rooted cuttings or seedlings of flowers, herbs, or any type of plants potted and ready to sell will be accepted. Plant donations can be dropped off right before the festival Friday, May 2. Volunteers are also needed to help set up the booth at noon on Friday, May 2. Please consider lending a hand. Contact Sterling and Liz Core at 225-936-5759 for more information.
SWEETS BOOTH: Please consider baking a batch of cookies or brownies, preparing your favorite dessert or pie, or baking a cake or two for the Sweet Booth. We appreciate any and all donations! Donations may be dropped off in front of the gym on Friday morning, May 2, from 7:20 - 8 a.m., or anytime during the Festival at the Sweets Booth. RIDE BRACELETS: There will be lots of great rides for all ages on the field festival weekend. Click here to purchase ride bracelets online by April 27. Weekend ride bracelets will not be available for purchase at the Festival. Companion ride bracelets are not being sold this year; parents will not need a companion bracelet and may accompany small children on rides designated for small children.
RAFFLE TICKETS: The parish festival raffles are important fundraisers for the STM community. Please lend your support by buying raffle tickets for the $10,000 Raffle, Big Ticket Raffle, and Cash Raffle. Click here to purchase raffle tickets.
FESTIVAL BUCKS: The parish festival is CASHLESS – a ticket exchange system is utilized where $1 = 1 festival buck. Plan ahead and purchase your festival bucks now. Festival bucks are used for STM’s food booths, games, and beverages. Click here to buy Festival Bucks online. Festival bucks cannot be used for the rides or the carnival company’s games or drinks.
SCHOOL MUSICAL PERFORMANCES: Please sign up your child (PK3 through 4th grade) to participate in the Festival school musical presentation on Sunday, May 4. Performances begin at 11:30 pm. Choir students already received a sign up form from Mrs. Sollie. More details to come. Click here to sign up.
ACTIVITY CENTER SALES - MAY 1 & 2: Friday ride bracelets, weekend ride bracelets, and Festival merch (shirts, hats, tumblers, and koozies) will be available for purchase on Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May 2, from 7 to 8:30 a.m. in the Activity Center. Check, cash, and credit card accepted.

FACULTY AND STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK - MAY 5-9: We have a fun filled week planned for our faculty and staff, whom we love and are so thankful for. Every day they teach, guide and help mold our children to be better versions of themselves. With your help, we can thank these wonderful individuals for what they have given to our children this year. The Home & School Association has been hard at work planning a week to help our faculty and staff feel appreciated. We cannot make this happen without the STM community! We are asking for your help to provide food items and contributions toward gift cards. We invite you to prayerfully consider volunteering, and sign up for what you can assist us with. PASS-IT-ON UNIFORM DROP-OFF: 8th graders may bring their gently-used uniforms to drop off at school on Friday, May 9, for the Pass-It-On Uniform Sale. Students in PK3 through 7th grade may bring uniforms on Wednesday, May 21. The uniform sale will be in June.

SUMMER READING TESTING FOR GRADES 3-6: Wednesday, June 18, and Tuesday, July 22, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the STM Library. Students in grades 3 through 6 are required to test on two summer reading books. Students may only test on one book on each testing date. There is no sign up required for testing; please arrive at the STM Library at testing time. Students may wait until we return to school in August to take one or both summer reading tests. MEDICATION PICK UP: If your child has medication in First Aid this school year, please stop by to pick it up before Friday, May 23. Students are not allowed to pick up any remaining medication. Orthodontic supplies or extra contacts/ glasses may be taken home by students any day before the last day of school. All medications and supplies that are not picked up by Friday, May 30, will be discarded. Nothing can be kept at school for the following year. If your child has medicine ordered at school, you will receive an envelope before the last day of school with blank medical paperwork for the 2025-26 school year.
ATTENTION 5th GRADE PARENTS: Students entering 6th grade are required to receive immunizations after turning 11-years-old. These vaccines include: Tdap and Meningococcal. Please make an appointment with your health care provider after your child’s 11th birthday. Official signed/stamped shot records can be faxed, emailed, or sent in an envelope to school. Unofficial records such as MyChart, personal records, etc. are not acceptable records by the Department of Health and Hospital guidelines. If your child will not be 11-years-old before starting 6th grade, please notify Nurse Rochelle. A grace period is allowed to get the vaccines after the 11th birthday. If you are not participating in immunizations, please submit a written statement from a physician stating the procedure is contraindicated for medical reasons, or provide a written dissent from a parent or guardian. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION: It’s time to register for VBS. Join us for TRUE NORTH: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World the week of June 16-20, 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Parish youth, rising kindergarteners thru rising 5 graders are invited to participate; older youth/adults are encouraged to sign up as junior helpers/volunteers. If your child is already signed up for STM Summer Camp the week of June 16-20, then your camper will be attending VBS as their field trip for the week! Please know you do not need to do any additional sign up, pay any fees, etc. for your camper to attend VBS.
