August Service Project - Society of St. Vincent de Paul

"Go to the poor. You will find God." - St. Vincent de Paul

Each month, our school community will participate in a service project to help the needy in our community. This month, we are asking for toiletry items - bar soap, deodorant, and liquid hand soap - for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Baton Rouge. Items can be brought to your child's homeroom class or to the school office through August 29. Collection bins are in the commons of Frey Hall, St. Joseph Hall, and Preschool. Thank you for your generosity!

Join us for Instrument Demo Night on Tuesday, August 26, at 5:30 p.m. in the St. Joseph Hall Commons. Morning and Afternoon Extended Care

Extended Care registration is still open. For fees and details, and to register, please go to stmbr.org/extendedcare25.

Students who are not picked up in afternoon carpool will be sent to Extended Care as a drop-in. If a student is not previously registered for Extended Care and is sent by the office (due to the office closing), the parent must register the child at that time and pay a fee. If your child is going home with another child in Extended Care, your child also must be registered. Please contact Mrs. Gretchen Thibodeaux with any questions about Extended Care.

Nurse's Notes

Nurse Rochelle MOVED locations on campus over the summer! She and Mrs. Guidry changed rooms. She is now on the end of our “Student Services” wing directly across from the playground!

IMMUNIZATION RECORDS NEEDED:  If Nurse Rochelle has contacted you by email or phone to request an updated immunization record for your student(s), please send them as soon as possible. These records must be up to date at the beginning of school. If you have not been contacted then you can assume that the record we have on file for your student is up to date. Immunization records can be copied and sent to school in an envelope to Nurse Rochelle’s attention, scanned and emailed to rochelle@stmbr.org (photos do not print well), faxed to 225-275-0376, or dropped off at the front office.

MEDICAL ORDERS: If your child had medical orders or medication in the nurse’s office last school year, the paperwork needs to be renewed each August. Blank paperwork was sent home in May, and blank medical forms can be found on our website: Important Medical Information and More — download and print what you need.
