Although healthy living and being kind to all are messages we focus on all year long at STM, to recognize National Red Ribbon Week, on Monday, October 28, all students are invited to wear red t-shirts in place of the uniform shirt or over the jumper, colored socks, ties, turtlenecks, bows, jewelry, beads, hats (not worn inside), scarves and sweatshirts.
Beginning Monday, November 4 through February 28, students may wear STM uniform sweatpants in place of uniform bottoms, except on Mass days. The official STM uniform sweatpants are only sold at Inka's Uniforms.
The STM Scholastic Book Fair is November 6-13! Please help STM meet our goal and inspire a love of reading in our students. Scholastic will give back a portion of the goal as rewards to our school when you shop.
Students will have the opportunity to shop at the Book Fair according to their grade level's designated day and time. Students received a schedule on October 22. The Book Fair also will be open to students and their grandparents on Grandparents Day (November 8). You also can shop online from November 5-18.

Community Coffee Cash for Schools: Please clip and collect Proofs of Purchase from all your Community Coffee products. Send Proofs of Purchase to your child’s homeroom teacher or the front office any time of the school year.
All student-athletes in grades 3-8 must have a completed athletic packet. Click here to download the athletic packet.

ATTENTION PRESCHOOL PARENTS: If your child goes to the doctor to get immunizations, please send a copy of the updated immunization record to school. You will be notified if your child’s immunization record will be expiring soon or has recently expired. We are required to keep up to date immunization records on file at the school.
ATTENTION FIFTH GRADE PARENTS: State law requires that students entering 6th grade receive booster shots after turning 11. These vaccines include: Tdap and Meningococcal. Please make an appointment with your health care provider after your child’s 11th birthday. Shot records can be faxed, emailed, or sent in an envelope to school. Our fax number is 225-275-0376; Nurse Rochelle's email address is rochelle@stmbr.org. Shot records for entering 6th graders are due by JULY 15, 2025. If your child will not be 11-years-old before starting 6th grade, please email Nurse Rochelle, and make an appointment for shots the week following his/her birthday.
Please sign and return vision or hearing referral letters! We conducted vision and hearing screenings in grades K, 1, 3, 5, and 7 in September. If your child(ren) did not pass one of the screenings, you should have received a referral letter. Please sign and return the bottom portion of the letter to Nurse Rochelle. Second notices have been sent out recently. We must have a parent signature on file to show that a parent was notified of a referral. If your child(ren) passed the screenings, no notifications were made. Please email Nurse Rochelle if you have any questions at rochelle@stmbr.org.
