Help us spread the word! Applications are OPEN for new students for the 2023-2024 school year. Let your friends and family know we are accepting applications for new students going into PK3 through 8th grade at stmbr.org/apply. Reenrollment for current students will begin on January 14.
Also, please invite prospective new families you know to our annual Open House on Tuesday, January 17. We will have continuous tours from 4 to 6 p.m. Administrators, several of our teachers and staff members, and student guides will be on hand to conduct tours of our campus. Prospective new families should RSVP at stmbr.org/openhouse.
Last year, STM earned more than $2,000 through the Community Coffee Cash for Schools program! Please collect and save Proofs of Purchase from Community Coffee products and submit them to the school office or to your child's homeroom teacher by December 20. Through this program, STM earns money to support the education of our children. We will count the labels and track the amount collected by each homeroom over the Christmas break, so start (or keep on!) bringing them in!
Share your holiday warmth! Help the STM Student Council collect pairs of new socks - infant to adult - for those in need this winter season. Socks will be donated to local organizations in need. Please bring new socks for any age to STM by Tuesday, December 13.
Hair accessories (bows, headbands, scrunchies and barrettes) should be in the same color scheme as the school uniform: white, navy, gold, and/or gray. The exception to this rule is on designated accessory days.
For complete STM dress code policies, see pages 24-28 in the STM 2022-2023 Parent-Student Handbook.
For safety reasons, at all-school Masses, students must sit with their teachers and classmates. For grade-level Masses, students may sit with parents in the parishioner section.
In past years, St. Thomas More has held a talent show in the spring semester. We want to ensure that we have enough participant interest to do the show in 2023. Please fill out this form if you have a child in grades 3-8 who is interested in trying out.

ABOUT THE BOOK
In How to Decorate a Cypress Tree, Louisiana siblings MaLou and Rodney are on a mission to create Christmas magic with the beauty of their bayou home. In 32 pages illustrated by Camille Broussard, children will learn about family, creativity, and the whimsy of nature.
