UNIFORMS

Please refer to the STM Parent-Student Handbook for complete dress code and grooming guidelines.

You may purchase your child's uniforms at the following:

ON MASS DAYS, out of respect for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, girls must wear their jumpers, skirts, skorts, or long pants. Boys must wear long pants with the uniform shirt tucked in. Due to warmer temperatures in Louisiana, boys may wear shorts to Mass in August and September.

PE UNIFORMS: 5th - 8th Students in grades 5-8 wear the STM PE uniform. The PE uniform is a specific t-shirt and shorts that can be purchased at any of our three uniform vendors.

SWEATPANTS: Sweatpants may be worn in place of skirts, skorts, pants or shorts from November through February, except on Mass days. Sweatpants are available at Inka's and School Time.

COLD WEATHER OUTERWEAR: Students may only wear STM jackets, fleece and sweaters purchased from Young Fashions, Inka's or School Time, or sweatshirts purchased from Inka's. When temperatures dip below 35°F, STM authorizes students to wear heavier, non-STM outerwear. This means that non-STM heavier outerwear may be worn over students' STM outerwear. It should be non-distracting, appropriate, and relatively easy to remove. Students may not wear hats or hoods inside of any building or classroom. Students in violation of these guidelines will lose conduct points and will not be allowed to wear the unauthorized outerwear at STM.

SHOES
Tennis Shoes:
Must be traditional low quarter (low cut) style with shoe laces. The shoe color must be navy blue, black, grey, white or any combination of those colors. The laces must be in the same color scheme (navy blue, black, grey, or white), solid, and traditionally tied. Characters, plaid, checkerboard patterns, lights, Velcro, zipper, skateboard style, slip-ons, and wheels are not allowed. PK students may wear Velcro shoes.
Leather Shoes: Solid navy blue, solid brown or solid black; no boots. (on P.E. days, tennis shoes should be worn.)
Socks: Socks must be visible, above the shoe and solid white with no logos. They cannot be below the shoe line.
