Help us spread the word! Applications are OPEN for new students for the 2023-2024 school year. Let your friends and family know we are accepting applications for new students going into PK3 through 8th grade at stmbr.org/apply.
Applications are for new students only. Reenrollment for current students will begin on January 14.
Also, please invite prospective new families you know to our annual Open House on Tuesday, January 17. We will have continuous tours from 4 to 6 p.m. Administrators, several of our teachers and staff members, and student guides will be on hand to conduct tours of our campus. Prospective new families should RSVP at stmbr.org/openhouse.
With the holidays and the season of gift giving upon us, please consider a gift to the St. Thomas More Annual Fund to improve safety for all students, faculty, staff and visitors to our campus by modernizing our camera security system.
With one week left in the year, it's also time to make your year-end tax-deductible charitable gifts for 2022!
To give online, you may go to stmbr.org/annualfund or Venmo @STMBRschool. To pay by check, please drop by the school office or mail to: St. Thomas More Catholic School Annual Fund, 11400 Sherbrook Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Please call the school office at 225-275-2820 if you need assistance.
Your contribution is more than a holiday gift; it is an investment in our students that will have a lasting impact. Thank you for your support!
A sincere THANK YOU for making Mission Day a success! Thanks to your generous giving of supplies, volunteer time and ticket purchases, STM raised $9,000 for the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, who work to provide education to remote and disadvantaged communities in Peru.
The STM Student Council participated in the Sock It o Me drive sponsored by Baton Rouge Parents Magazine. The goal was to donate pairs of new socks to give to the needy in our community. STM students collected 620 pairs of socks! The Student Council was so excited about the awesome participation of our students. Sincere thanks go to all who donated socks.
In past years, St. Thomas More has held a talent show in the spring semester. We want to ensure that we have enough participant interest to do the show in 2023. Please fill out this form if you have a child in grades 3-8 who is interested in trying out.
This quarter, AmazonSmile made a charitable donation to STM school in the amount of $159.30 as a result of qualifying purchases made by customers who selected STM as their charity. If you are an Amazon.com shopper, please consider using AmazonSmile. Amazon will donate a percentage of your purchase to STM! All you have to do is be a member of Amazon Prime, go to smile.amazon.com and, at the top, search for St. Thomas More Catholic School. (There are a few, so be sure to find the Baton Rouge location.)
