A reminder that morning carpool drop-off begins at 7:20 a.m. Parents waiting in the carpool line may see students entering campus before 7:20, but these students are either Beta students assisting with carpool duty or students arriving early for our monthly Middle School Rosary. For the safety and organization of our morning arrival, we ask that families in the carpool line please wait until 7:20 a.m. to approach the carpool drop-off area. Thank you for helping us keep morning arrival running smoothly!
Due to recently clarified USDA policy, moving forward, personal checks will be accepted for cafeteria payments. Please make out checks to STM Cafeteria and turn in to the school office. MySchoolBucks will continue to be available for families who prefer the convenience of making payments online.
Calling all STM boys in grades K–8 and their moms (or grandmothers, godmothers, aunts, or other special female role model)! Join us for an afternoon of food, fun, games, and memory-making on Saturday, September 19, from 1–3 p.m. on the STM athletic field and in the school gym.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! We are looking for adult volunteers to help supervise activities and keep things running smoothly during the event. Adult volunteers must be child protection certified.

We are Eagles Being Disciples of Christ! Each month, our school community will participate in a service project to help the needy. For our September project, we are asking for donations of new socks for the Baton Rouge Parents Magazine Sock It to Me! drive. Socks are among the most needed items at shelters. The vision is to put new socks that provide warmth and protection on the feet of men, women, and children who are in need. Students will bring up their donations of new socks during a special collection at Mass on Thursday, September 24. Thank you for your generosity!
With the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated in 7th grade, we want to encourage our middle school students to stay actively involved in their faith and connected to the Church. Here are three opportunities for our young disciples to grow in faith, prayer, and fellowship:
STM Youth Gathering: Join your STM friends after school one Friday each month for an evening of faith and fellowship! Students spend time growing in their prayer life before enjoying games, snacks, and time together. Registration is required, and the admission fee is one canned good for the Poor Box. STM Middle School Bible Study: Beginning in November, middle school students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into their faith through the Word of God. Registration is required, and there is a $20 fee for materials. Click here to register.
St. Michael the Archangel MP3 Night: Middle school students are invited to “Grace Isn’t a Race” — an evening of fun, food, games, friends, and faith with other students. Saturday, September 19, 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the St. Michael Gym (17521 Monitor Ave.) Click here to RSVP by September 16.
Join us for More Mahjong at STM on Tuesday, September 15, from 6–8:30 p.m. in the gym! Gather your friends for a fun evening of Mahjong while supporting St. Thomas More Catholic School.

Players must bring a 2026 National Mah Jongg League card. We recommend that participants have completed at least one Mahjong lesson and be familiar with the basics of the game before attending.

Help Us Track Illnesses: Nurse Rochelle monitors cases of flu, strep, COVID-19, and other contagious illnesses within our school community. Join us for the 2026 Greg Brown Golf Tournament on Monday, October 19, 2026, at Greystone Country Club.
The tournament is named in memory of Greg Brown, one of the original founders of the STM Men’s Club in 2006 and the driving force behind its first golf tournament in 2007. Greg served as Men’s Club president in 2009 and played an important role in the club’s early growth and traditions. Following his passing from cancer in 2013, the tournament was renamed in his honor in recognition of his lasting impact on the STM Men’s Club.
Our sponsors are the driving force behind this event. Sponsorship opportunities give businesses and organizations valuable exposure while supporting STM Men’s Club and its mission of Men Doing More. Sponsorship packages range from $150 to $5,000.
Individual golfers may register for $150, and team registration is $500. Each player receives a round of golf, tournament shirt, hat, swag bag, and dinner.

SCHOOL MASS: Thursdays at 8:45 a.m. when school is in session. Exceptions: December 8 is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a Holy Day of Obligation, therefore Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 8 rather than Thursday, December 10.
